Sulzer appoints ad interim CEO (26/10/2011, News Release)
The board of directors of Sulzer has appointed Jürgen Brandt as Chief Executive Officer of Sulzer as of November 1, 2011, on an ad interim basis.
Jürgen Brandt will take over this position in addition to his role as Chief Financial Officer.
In agreement with the Board, the current CEO, Ton Büchner, will leave Sulzer by the end of October to pursue a career opportunity as CEO of AkzoNobel, as announced in June. The recruiting process for the new Chief Executive Officer of Sulzer is underway and an appointment will be announced in due course. back
