Sulzer Turbo Services is specialized in the customer support of gas turbine end-users. Our non-OEM approach covers repair services, supply of replacement parts and providing complete overhaul and maintenance packages of heavy duty and light frame industrial gas turbines. Our well equipped global facilities and experienced personnel have 30 years of operational experience in the industry.

Our technology driven services are focused towards end users and/or operators of gas turbine packages produced by all the main manufacturers. Services include:

Repair and/or replacement of all component parts such as buckets/blades, nozzles/vane segments, shroud blocks, combustion parts such as liners/baskets, transition pieces, cross fire/flame tubes and much more.

Manufacturing, re-engineering and modifications of gas turbine parts, like buckets, nozzles, liners and casings

All modern turbine rotors of various sizes and weight are repaired and overhauled which includes disassembly, cleaning, NDT and dimensional inspection of all turbine parts. Following repairs, complete assembly is also performed. Our full machine shop capabilities include advanced rotor restoration welding at most facilities. Rotor balancing can be performed at both low and full operational speed, assembly of rotor, reassembly of complete thermal blocks and final quality control.

State of art coatings and systems are applied to increase operational performance and/or extend operational life. Proprietary coatings are applied to compressor, combustion and turbine section components thru a variety of coating application techniques including Air, Plasma, HVOF, LPPS.

Metallographical analysis, including Digital X-Ray and SEM capabilities, are performed by degreed and certified professional metallurgists. Component life assessments can be performed to determine integrity and reliability of critical hot section components. Dedicated heat treatment processes are available to rejuvenate base material properties.

Sulzer has the capability to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Boroscope inspection, combustion inspection, hot gas path inspections and major overhauls are performed by experienced OEM trained staff. All mechanical and electrical inspections are supported by in-house engineering and logistical departments. Turbine control upgrade packages are available.
