Sulzer Turbo Services is proud to announce the establishment of its brand new repair facility located in Edmonton, Alberta opening before end 2007.The new facility offers comprehensive repair/remanufacturing and maintenance services on a variety of rotating equipment 24 hours a day, seven days a week. 

Edmonton provides service and engineering support to a variety of markets including, but not limited to the refining petrochemical, chemical power and pulp and paper industries. 

The repair capabilities of the Edmonton facility closely mirror Sulzer Hickham’s “Core Shop” in La Porte, Texas.Full technical service support and component remanufacturing will be provided by Sulzer Hickham.

• Machining capabilities: various large horizontal and vertical turret lathes
• CAD documentation
• Weld repair and grit blasting
• The various Schenk balance machines will have the latest Computer Aided Balancing instrumentation.
• As-received inspections, un-stack inspections, individual mandrel balancing of components, progressive stacking and balancing of rotors, final balancing and complete assembly of a variety of rotating equipment.
• Non-destructive examination, magnetic particle inspection, liquid penetrant inspection, ultrasonic inspection and hardness testing.
• Turnkey field service
