Based on the vast experience of more than 30 years of component repair, Sulzer Turbo Services Venlop has developed the process to design and manufacture new gas turbine components. Component manufacture is all about offering you an alternative to the OEM for the supply of gas turbine and steam turbine components including:
- burners
- combustion liners and transition pieces
- hot gas casings and mixing chambers
- blades and vanes
Our ability to supply high quality components, often with design improvements over the original designs, offers you a real alternative to the OEM.
A state-of-the-art gas turbine rotor overhaul facility, which is capable of handling the largest steam and gas turbines, utilizing a 120 tonne overhead crane and purpose built stacking pit. Sulzer Elbar is also the pioneer developer of high technology hot component repair techniques and regularly refurbishes components previously considered as irreparable, using the latest advanced repair technologies. Additionally we manufacture highly competitive hot and cold section components for gas and steam turbines. Based on both our own manufacturing and third party supply, a full range parts provision is capable from within Sulzer Turbo Services Division (both hot section and cold section blades and vanes).
Sulzer Elbar’s experienced field service teams lead all types of site work, from minor inspections to major overhauls, either on an ad hoc basis or as part of a Long Term Service Agreement. Examples of the type of projects undertaken by the division include a long term contract in which Sulzer Elbar b.v. has complete responsibility for a site which includes Fr 5/2 C, PGT10 and motor driven pumps and compressors.
In our Component Repair Shop of 3500 m2 work in Lomm we provide full capability repairs for all components including single crystal and directionally solidified materials. Furthermore, a full range of coating capabilities including metallic and ceramic materials in APS, HVOF and LPPS.
